Rolla One - Android permissions

Rolla One requires certain permissions so you could do the activity you want. Here you can see what permissions are required for Rolla One on Android and why.



PermissionWhy?
LocationWe need access to your location to track and record data during activities. Data collected are speed, distance, elevation gain, and path to show on the map. Background location access will ensure Rolla One works even when the phone is locked, or when you minimize the app. Rolla One works best when the Allow all the time location permission is granted
Activity recognitionUsed for step detection. Sometimes called Physical Activity
BluetoothRolla One uses Bluetooth to connect to devices, such as smart trainers and heart rate monitors.
Draw over other apps
With Draw over other apps allowed, you can lock your screen or minimize Rolla One. Rolla will remain connected to the Rolla World. This is sometimes called Display over other apps or Appear on top.
Storage
Used for the feature of changing a profile picture. Sometimes called Files and media
